Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Lead State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our compassionate 5 STAR healthcare team. As a Lead STNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care while guiding and supporting fellow STNAs. Your expertise will ensure that residents and patients receive respectful, personalized, and high-quality care across various settings, including long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, hospitals, and specialized units. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead by example, foster teamwork, and uphold the highest standards of safety and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Provides onsite direction and education of facility practice during designated shifts.
- Assess patient care requirements by making rounds.
- Observes techniques of and services rendered by CNA staff to ensure adherence to guidelines.
- Serve as a resource for staff for solving interdepartmental problems.
- Reports to on call (DON/ADON) of significant incidents and problems and works with the Administrator provide customer service support.
- Maintains a good working relationship that provides growth and job satisfaction for night-shift personnel.
- Ensures adequate coverage and makes necessary changes in staffing to meet the workload to provide patient care.
- Consistently follows established safety and infection control procedures. Intervenes in unsafe situations.
- Reviews POC to ensure completion of resident charting
- Assists in giving direct care when necessary.
- Ability to handle difficult situations involving staff or residents in a professional manner. Be proactive in managing any conflict that you observe between the shifts.
- Ability to supervise and motivate staff to perform their duties
- Document call-offs and tardies on required forms.
Qualifications: Must be a State Tested Nursing Assistiant and able to perform all essential functions of an STNA

Pay: $22.62 - $27.24 per hour
