We’re looking for someone who understands the importance of thorough multi-point inspections, accurate recommendations, and preventative maintenance that keeps our customers safe and confident on the road.
Position Overview
As a Maintenance Technician at Smart Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, you will play a key role in vehicle safety and customer satisfaction. This position goes beyond basic services — we need a technician who can properly inspect, identify, and recommend needed maintenance and repair services including brakes, alignments, and fluid services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and routine maintenance efficiently
- Conduct detailed multi-point inspections on every vehicle
- Inspect and service brake systems (pads, rotors, calipers, brake fluid)
- Perform or assist with wheel alignments
- Complete fluid maintenance services (coolant, transmission, brake, differential, power steering, etc.)
- Inspect suspension, steering, belts, hoses, and under car components
- Accurately document inspection findings and recommendations
- Communicate clearly with service advisors regarding vehicle condition
- Maintain clean and organized work environment
- Follow Hyundai and dealership safety standards
Qualifications
- 1+ years of automotive maintenance experience preferred
- Strong understanding of brake and suspension systems
- Experience with alignments preferred
- Ability to perform detailed inspections and identify safety concerns
- Valid driver’s license with clean record
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Hyundai experience is a plus, but not required
