RN/LPN Requirements:
- Minimum of One-years’ experience in Nursing
- Passion for working with older adults.
- Must possess knowledge and skills in areas of nursing principles and practices.
RN/LPN Responsibilities:
- Ensure the clinical operations in the households follow federal, state and local regulations, the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Maine and professional standards of nursing care while honoring person-centered and resident-directed care
- Observes resident status as necessary to assure quality care and coordinates with other resident services to assure continuity of care
- Provides leadership to the household and promotes teamwork that supports the values of Person First and resident-directed care
- Implement clinical policies and procedures which ensure safe, sanitary and efficient practices
- Assures documentation, medication administration, resident nursing care, safety and sanitation, personnel and staff development, material management, quality improvement and residents rights follow facility standards
Education:
- Requires a current State of Maine RN/LPN license
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing is a plus
