Overview:
Wyandotte Technologies is a leading provider of professional services and solutions to the Department of Energy. We are recruiting an Adjudication Analyst in support of the Department of Energy, Office of Science Consolidated Service Center, in Oak Ridge, TN.
Responsibilities:
- Screen, review, and evaluate completed investigation reports, and self-reports for clearance applicants and incumbents.
- Identify and analyze derogatory and mitigating information or resolve discrepant or contradictory information to determine an individual’s eligibility to access classified information and materials.
- Develop detailed adjudicative analytical summaries recommending subsequent action, with supporting rationale and based upon the National Security Adjudicative Guidelines, relevant DOE Orders, investigative requirements, and local directives.
- Work assignments will also include but are not limited to: verify information submitted on investigation applications and investigation requirements were met; contact subjects via approved methods to include the drafting and issuance of Letters of Interrogatory on behalf of DOE; retrieve data from credit bureaus.
- Manage caseload with appropriate follow-up, based on guidelines for timeliness, to include documenting progress within DOE systems.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor to support CPSO Clearance and HSPD-12 processing activities.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in a personnel security adjudication and investigative analyst field
- 5+ years conducting security-related adjudications
- 3+ years of technical experience in the areas of:
- Safeguards and Security
- Knowledge of DOE operations
- Experience in working in a secure, controlled environment
- Knowledge of DOE Orders and Directives
- Knowledge of Personnel Security Programs and Directive
Minimum Requirements:
- Excellent analytical skills, written communication skills, and proficiency MS Word and Excel, and other MS Office products.
- The position requires handling of business sensitive, proprietary, CUI, and classified matter up to and including Secret Restricted Data. As such, possessing or being able to obtain a DOE Q access authorization is strongly preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of DOE Personnel Security Orders and administration requirements, and clearance processes.
- Proficiency in DOE report writing experience is strongly preferred.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and local oversight directions.
- Ability to work on a computer for the full workday, to include typing, reading from, and navigating within multiple systems and programs.
- Ability to learn and become proficient in site-specific computer databases and systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to multi-task and work with tight and often conflicting deadlines.
- Exceptional skill in expressing ideas, conclusions, and making recommendations effectively, clearly, and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- In addition to completing the courses identified in the Education section, complete on the job training (OJT), both in-person and remote.

Must have completed or be able to complete the training courses from DOE’s National Training Center:
- PSC-100DE Personnel Security Overview
- PSC-110DE Clearance Action Tracking System Overview
- PSC-300 Adjudication Fundamentals
Clearance:
This position will require a DOE Q clearance to execute the duties required.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
