American Traveler is hiring a travel RN Perioperative Circulator for an Adult Surgery OR position requiring a minimum of one year of acute OR experience and Level 1 trauma background, working 4x10-hour day shifts.

Adult Surgery operating room unit in an acute hospital setting

Perioperative circulator role covering operative and other invasive procedures

Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

13-week contract

Active RN license (Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or eNLC compact license) currently in hand

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required

Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute operating room environment required

Level 1 trauma experience required (minimum 6 months)

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred

Strong knowledge of AORN standards and perioperative nursing practices

CNOR certification preferred

Plans, coordinates, delivers, and evaluates nursing care for patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures whose protective reflexes or self-care abilities may be compromised

Individualizes patient care based on health status, age, and surgical procedure being performed

Responsible for ongoing documentation and evaluation of all components of perioperative care using the nursing process

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered

Previous workers at this facility must have a 6-month separation before being eligible to apply for a new contract

Compliance with onboarding requirements (drug screens, background checks, medical requirements) must begin immediately upon acceptance of offer
