Compensation
- BA (Non-Exempt): $22.48 – $30.99/hour
- RN (Exempt): $27.72 – $38.27/hour

Summary
Are you a licensed social worker or registered nurse passionate about improving the lives of older adults? At Northeast Michigan Community Mental Health Authority (NeMCMHA), we’re seeking a dedicated Mental Health Professional to provide compassionate, recovery-focused care to individuals in nursing homes, adult foster care (AFC), and independent living settings.

What You’ll Do
As a Qualified Mental Health Professional, you’ll provide direct treatment and case management services to older adults. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting biopsychosocial assessments and developing person-centered plans
- Monitoring progress on recovery goals and coordinating care across settings
- Providing Nursing Home Mental Health Monitoring services
- Delivering targeted case management and supports coordination
- Facilitating education and consultation for nursing home staff and community partners
- Participating in OBRA Level I and II processes as needed
- Collaborating with families, guardians, and interdisciplinary teams
- Participating in the Emergency Services Unit’s on-call rotation
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field, or RN license from an accredited institution
- Current Michigan licensure (LBSW or RN)
- At least 1 year of experience working with older adults
- Strong communication skills and functional computer literacy
- Lived experience with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or substance use is valued
- Valid Michigan driver’s license and acceptable driving record
