Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid Michigan SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or current CFY status
- Experience in school-based or pediatric therapy preferred
- Comfortable with teletherapy platforms for remote service delivery
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for supporting students with diverse speech and language needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other school professionals
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and required documentation
- Provide both direct and consultative SLP services as identified by student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Engage students through creative, evidence-based approaches to maximize success
