Position Summary
The Senior Geologist manages day-to-day exploration activities, drilling programs, geological interpretation, and field operations. The role provides technical leadership while supporting resource growth and mentoring junior geologists.
Key Responsibilities
· Plan and supervise exploration and drilling programs.
· Log drill core and oversee geological mapping and sampling.
· Interpret geological, structural, geochemical, and geophysical data.
· Build and update geological models.
· Ensure QA/QC protocols are followed.
· Coordinate drilling contractors and field crews.
· Prepare technical reports and recommendations.
· Assist with mineral resource estimation and technical studies.
· Mentor junior geologists and geological technicians.
· Maintain high safety and environmental standards.
Qualifications
· B.Sc. in Geology or related discipline.
· P.Geo. designation or working toward registration.
· 8–10 years of mineral exploration experience.
· Strong understanding of gold exploration systems.
· Experience with geological software and GIS.
· Excellent organizational and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently in remote field environments.
Pay: $94,123.13 - $113,352.59 per year
