Atomic Wings is on the hunt for dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Members to join our dynamic team. FULL-TIME & PART-TIME positions available at our location in Fairview Heights. In this role you will play a vital part in meal preparation, plating, boxing, and food service, ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Initially focusing on one area, such as frying or sauce preparation, you will quickly become versatile, cross-training across various kitchen roles. Your dedication will ensure that every plate of wings served is up to the Atomic standard -- perfectly cooked, saucily coated, and ready to wow the guests! You will work collaboratively with other team members to deliver high-quality meals while adhering to food safety standards.
Duties

- Assist in meal preparation by following recipes and portion guidelines
- A dynamic, very fast-paced kitchen environment
- Handle food safely and ensure proper food handling techniques are followed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including utensils and equipment
- Operate kitchen equipment, including knives and other food preparation tools, with care
- Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during meal periods
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food safety practices is a plus
- Experience as a cook is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
