Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for our guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their stay.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure all amenities are replenished and in good condition for guests.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding confidentiality and guest privacy.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel experience is preferred but not required; hospitality experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent cleaning skills, including floor care techniques.
- Experience in janitorial or custodial roles is beneficial; familiarity with industrial cleaning methods is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact positively with guests and staff.
