About The Role
The Power House is seeking an experienced Personal Training Coach to join our coaching team. This role is well‑suited for a coach who values high‑quality program design, strong client relationships, and long‑term athletic development, and who wants to work in an environment that respects both the science and community-building of coaching.
You’ll work directly with our personal training clients, while collaborating with a seasoned team in a community‑driven, values‑aligned organization.
What You’ll Do
- Primary Role: Coach one‑on‑one personal training sessions at our St. Paul location
- Possible/Optional Secondary Role: Coach group classes across multiple training formats, including: CrossFit, HYROX, Olympic Lifting, Strength Training, Women's 55+ Training
- Work with adults and older athletes focused on strength, balance, injury prevention, and longevity
- Design individualized training programs rooted in functional movement principles and client‑specific goals
- Confidently support female clients across life stages, including pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, menopause, and general strength development
- Conduct fitness assessments and use data and observation to guide progression
- Coach safe, effective movement and provide clear technical feedback
- Maintain consistent, professional communication with clients regarding scheduling, goals, and progress
- Collaborate with fellow coaches and staff through weekly meetings and shared standards
- Stay current with exercise science research and applied coaching best practices
- Maintain active certifications and engage in continued professional development
The Coach We Are Looking For Has:
- A current certification in Personal Training or a related field
- A strong command of anatomy, physiology, and exercise programming principles
- Meaningful experience working with adult clients in a gym setting
- Demonstrated experience or deep interest in women’s health and fitness
- High emotional intelligence and strong communication skills
- The ability to build long‑term client relationships through consistency and integrity
- Comfort working with a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels
- A coaching philosophy rooted in respect, inclusion, and evidence‑based practices

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
