We currently have one opening for an Network Engineer Apprentice to join our growing team in an environment that rewards those who challenge themselves. This position provides exposure to diverse computer networking environments utilizing different platforms for various industries including travel, manufacturing, medical and professional services, for clients with offices in the US, Canada and India. This role offers motivated individuals the opportunity to develop hands-on experience in preparation for potential Help Desk, Systems Engineer, Project Engineer, and Consulting roles. The term of the apprenticeship is 3 months and offers the potential for advancement. Our team heavily invests our resources into the training of our apprentices and because of this we pay very close attention to how applicants represent themselves. The right applicant will demonstrate in their cover letter, resume and during their interview:
- The ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written form to a technical and non-technical audience.

We offer an opportunity to enrich your knowledge and experience in a fast-paced consulting and implementation environment. Applicants should possess some experience supporting end-users in the following areas:
- Windows user account management.
- Knowledge of applications such as FTP clients, anti-virus, anti-spyware, and diagnostic tools.
- Must have strong knowledge of TCP/IP.
- Understanding of productivity applications such as email, word processing, spreadsheets, web browsers, etc.
- A basic understanding of networking infrastructure such as routers, firewalls, access points and switches and their roles.
- Windows File Sharing and Printing.
- Must possess a solid foundation in computer science, including the necessary knowledge of computer history.
- Linux and/or Mac, iPhone, smart phone knowledge a plus.
This apprenticeship is part time - Monday through Friday.

Stipend:
Semi-monthly stipend to cover commuting costs and meals, plus bonus upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, regardless of whether a permanent position is offered or accepted.
