Job Overview
Our client, an established and rapidly growing renewable energy provider, is looking to bring on an Electrician to support the company’s growing demand for residential solar installations. This person will focus on providing the electrical services needed prior to solar installations and, as such, will be a key member of their solar division in ensuring the efficient and timely completion of solar projects. This Electrician role is a full-time, permanent position with our client.
Job Responsibilities
- Traveling to customer locations across New York City to complete electrical services projects such as main panel upgrades, service upgrades, and panel relocations, as well various site survey tasks
- Obtaining and gathering relevant data, such as utility and permitting details
- Taking photographs of customers’ electrical systems and uploading them into the company's CRM.
- Assessing customers’ electrical systems and roofing conditions
- Coordinating with customers, solar designers, roofers, and other internal stakeholders
- Ensuring safety standards are met and adhered to
Successful Candidates Must Have:
- At least 3 years of electrical experience
- The ability to complete electrical work such as main panel upgrades with no supervision
- Solar experience is a plus, but not a requirement
Compensation & Benefits
- This Electrician role is a full-time role with an hourly rate of $40.00 to $55.00 per Hour
