Dental Assistant – Full-Time

The Role
We’re hiring an experienced Dental Assistant to support our dentist chairside, manage sterilization protocols, and help deliver an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist during exams, fillings, crowns, extractions, and cosmetic procedures
- Take digital X-rays (intraoral & panoramic) and pour impressions
- Sterilize instruments, set up/break down operatories, and maintain OSHA compliance
- Update patient charts in Open Dental (or similar PMS) and educate patients on post-op care
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and keep lab cases on schedule
- Greet patients, verify required appointment forms, and coordinate treatment plans

Required Qualifications
- Certification: completion of accredited dental assisting program
- Experience: 1+ years chairside (new grads with strong externship may apply)
- Skills: digital radiography, four-handed dentistry, infection control
- Tech: Proficient with Open Dental (or similar PMS), digital scanners (iTero or Trios)
- Availability: Mon–Thu; occasional Fridays (for larger cases); no evenings
- Strong work ethic and proven reliability: must demonstrate consistent punctuality, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to daily tasks
- Professional appearance: polished, well-groomed, and able to represent our upscale practice image
Preferred (Not Required)
- Coronal polishing or nitrous monitoring certification
- Experience with Invisalign or digital design
