Job Description
Ron Jon Surf Shop is currently seeking a Distribution Supervisor to join the Ron Jon Team. The Distribution Supervisor responsibilities will be to supervise associates, multi-store fulfillment processes, perform and oversee cycle counts and receiving processes, travel to off site warehouse facilities and be able to multi-task while achieving department goals. The supervisor must be extremely self-motivated, have strong communication skills, and a positive attitude. The manager will be required to learn and know all aspects of the operation and supervise it as such.
This is a Full-Time salaried position, 40 hours per week. Shifts will vary during season. Must be able to commit to a flexible schedule and work weekends or holidays as needed. This will be a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Opening and closing of the facilities.
- Assist in and supervise cycle counts, auto replenishment.
- Manage high-volume inbound and outbound shipment activity.
- Understand, communicate and execute company policies and standards.
- Training and supervising warehouse associates.
- Ability to recruit and train distribution associates for promotion and career advancement.
- Plan work schedules and assign duties.
- Promote quality and safety throughout all areas of the Distribution Center.
Requirements/Preferences:
- Previous supervisory/leadership experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Powered material handling equipment experience a plus.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Stand and/ or move around for extended periods of time.
- Reach, carry, bend and climb ladders occasionally.
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
