Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our environmental transportation team. This role is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting non-hazardous and hazardous waste to designated disposal facility locations.
The selected candidate will operate various types of trucks and trailers, including flatbeds, end dumps, roll offs, and tankers. This position requires strong driving experience, attention to detail, and the ability to follow DOT regulations, company safety procedures, and proper documentation requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Safely operate trucks and trailers to transport liquid and solid waste to assigned destinations
- Transport non-hazardous and hazardous waste to designated disposal facility locations
- Operate various types of trucks and trailers, including flatbeds, end dumps, roll offs, and tankers
- Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety procedures while on the road
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment as needed
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in safe working condition
- Plan routes and manage time to meet delivery deadlines
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any concerns
- Maintain accurate logs for mileage, fuel usage, and delivery records
- Ensure proper documentation is completed for transporting regulated materials
- Keep assigned vehicles and equipment clean, organized, and properly maintained
- Use proper PPE and follow all required safety procedures at all times
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with a valid Class A CDL
- Clean driving record
- Proven experience operating manual transmission vehicles
- Familiarity with flatbeds, end dumps, roll offs, and tankers
- Knowledge of load securement and safe hauling practices
- Ability to safely load and unload materials using equipment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with dispatch, customers, and internal teams
- Must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work independently
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, lift, and carry as needed throughout the workday
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks such as bending, lifting, securing loads, and operating equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather and terrain conditions
- Exposure to trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, noise, dust, and potentially hazardous materials
- Irregular hours may be required, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and extended travel
- Must be comfortable working in a variety of outdoor environments and extreme weather conditions
- Must comply with company safety procedures, including daily safety meetings and required PPE use
