Responsibilities
- Provide professional barbering services including haircutting, shaving, beard grooming, and styling using various techniques such as straight razors and clippers..
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure client safety.
- Utilize barbershop software like vagaro for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking.
- Offer expert advice on hair care, product recommendations, and retail upselling to maximize client satisfaction and barber revenue.
- Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling client inquiries professionally.
Skills
- Extensive experience working in the beauty industry with knowledge of cosmetology practices.
- Skilled in barbering techniques including straight razor shaves and traditional haircuts.
- Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and understand their needs clearly.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Ability to manage retail sales through upselling products like hair care items and styling tools effectively.
- Experience with store management tasks including retail math for inventory control and sales analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor team members while maintaining a high level of customer service excellence.
