Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be able to work effectively on a range of projects. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can read blueprints, perform frame carpentry, and ensure high-quality installation of fixtures and structures.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings to complete carpentry projects accurately.
- Perform frame carpentry, including constructing walls, roofs, and floors.
- Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, windows, and trim with precision.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
- Conduct heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and assembling structures.
- Ensure all installations are plumb, level, and square to maintain structural integrity.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in carpentry with a strong understanding of frame carpentry techniques.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading to accurately follow project specifications.
- Ability to install various fixtures with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in carpentry work.
- Capability of performing heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Tools required
- Any and all hand tools to complete job assignments including, not limited to , tool bag, all hand tools, drill and a running vehicle
Tools provided
- Any and all major saws/ equipment needed to complete jobs.
General Required Info
- Minimum of two or more years of experience with custom homes, not track homes!
- All hand tools must be required, plus tool belt;
- Running and legal vehicle to get you to and from job site
- Goal and team oriented individual;
- All pay depends on experience and provided tools.
