We are looking for an experienced, dependable Masonry Block Crew Chief to lead our block crew. If you have strong leadership skills, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and are committed to safety and efficiency, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a masonry block crew on commercial and residential projects.
- Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Coordinate layout, block installation, and daily crew activities.
- Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to company quality standards.
- Train and mentor crew members.
- Monitor material usage and maintain a clean, organized job site.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, superintendents, and other trades.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a masonry block crew leader, foreman, or crew chief.
- Strong knowledge of CMU block installation, layout, mortar application, and masonry best practices.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
