Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs related to their gaming needs.
- Assist customers in selecting products such as sleeves, dice, deck boxes, and more.
- Provide expert advice on gaming products and accessories to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling all while maintaining accuracy in retail math calculations.
- Stock shelves with merchandise, organize displays through effective merchandising strategies, and ensure products are well-presented and accessible.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, conducting stock rotations, and assisting with inventory counts.
Qualifications
- Passion for trading card games, boardgames, and tabletop games is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
- Strong communication skills to engage with customers confidently and clearly explain product details.
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is advantageous; familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain an orderly store environment.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic retail math calculations.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads when stocking merchandise.
