Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and a passion for maintaining and servicing swimming pools. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that pools are clean, safe, and functioning properly, providing exceptional service to our clients. No experience needed! Must have a valid Florida driver's license and pass background check to confirm insurability for our commercial auto policy.
Duties
- Perform regular pool cleaning and maintenance tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces.
- Inspect pool equipment for proper operation and identify any necessary repairs or replacements.
- Conduct water quality testing and balance chemicals to ensure safe swimming conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed on each pool.
- Communicate with clients regarding maintenance schedules, service issues, and recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure all work areas are clean and organized after completing tasks.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs. 5-10 times a day.
Skills
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Experience as a service technician in the pool industry or related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of pool cleaning techniques and maintenance best practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery.
