PURPOSE: To provide support to the bus driver and students on bus route.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to pass DOT physical fitness assessment.
- Assists the bus driver in maintaining good student conduct on the bus.
- Assists students with disabilities in getting on and off the bus and in maintaining a safe
environment while on the bus.
- Assures that students get on and off the bus in an orderly fashion.
- Operates and checks the wheelchair lift daily.
- Ensures all students have exited the bus at conclusion of route.
- Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the Director of
Transportation or his/her designee may assign.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
