Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Day Shift

Contract Length: 13-week Contract to Hire

We’re hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support providers and deliver quality patient care in a busy outpatient clinic.
Schedule goes as follows:
Monday: 8a - 430p
Tuesday: 8a - 430p
Wednesday: 8a - 430p
Thursday: 8a - 630p
Friday: 8a - 230p
Key Responsibilities:
- Room patients and obtain vitals/specimens
- Assist providers during exams and procedures
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies
- Perform in-office lab tests as needed
- Document visits, labs, and diagnoses in the EHR
- Coordinate lab work and communicate abnormal results
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current CPR certification
- Medical Assistant experience
- EMR/EHR experience (NextGen a plus)
- bilingual Spanish preferred
