Responsibilities
- Actively engage with customers to identify their needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and follow-up.
- Conduct route driving to visit clients, deliver products, or perform merchandising tasks efficiently and safely.
- Apply pricing strategies effectively to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring profitability.
- Upsell additional products or services by highlighting features and benefits that meet customer needs.
- Maintain organized records of sales activities, route schedules, and customer interactions for optimal efficiency.
- Follow all safety guidelines related to automobile transportation, heavy lifting, and safe lifting practices.
- Stay informed about product offerings, pricing updates, and promotional campaigns to enhance sales effectiveness.
Skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey product benefits and listen actively to customer needs.
- Knowledge of pricing strategies, upselling techniques, and merchandising principles.
- Experience in commercial driving, route planning, and route driving safety standards.
- Proficiency in math for calculating prices, discounts, and profit margins accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage schedules, routes, and customer information efficiently.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on building lasting client relationships.
- Experience in sales roles within military or related disciplined environments is a plus for adaptability and teamwork skills.
