Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of baked goods, pastries, and donuts following established recipes and standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, pastry tools, and packaging machines safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance
- Assist with food handling, portioning, and packaging for high-volume production needs
- Uphold food safety management practices by adhering to sanitation protocols and proper storage procedures
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, baking, or pastry arts within a high-volume setting
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with culinary techniques for cake decorating and pastry making
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures in the food industry
- Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in product quality
- Excellent interpersonal skills when interacting with team members
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, including knowledge of metric system, accurately and managing inventory levels
- Experience operating kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, slicers, and packaging machinery
