As we continue to expand across the United States and internationally, we are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our executive leadership team.
Position Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee all financial operations of CorePerformance Feeds and serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and Chief Strategist. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the company's financial strategy, managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance, improving financial performance, and supporting long-term business growth.
This is a senior executive position requiring both strategic leadership and hands-on financial management within a fast-growing entrepreneurial business.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and Chief Strategist.
- Present financial reports, forecasts, and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Drive profitability, cash flow optimization, and long-term financial planning.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Monitor company performance against budgets and KPIs.
- Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives.
- Conduct profitability analysis across products, customers, and distribution channels.
- Evaluate pricing strategies and gross margin performance.
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Oversee accounting operations and financial reporting.
- Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Coordinate year-end accounting activities and external audits.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Oversee tax planning and filings in collaboration with external advisors.
- Maintain strong internal controls and corporate governance.
- Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
Strategic Growth
- Support mergers, acquisitions, investments, and strategic partnerships where applicable.
- Evaluate new business opportunities through financial analysis.
- Assist with fundraising, financing arrangements, and investor communications when required.
- Support expansion into new markets and product categories.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (CPA and/or MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including experience as a Controller, VP of Finance, or CFO.
- Experience in manufacturing, consumer products, agriculture, animal nutrition, food production, or a related industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Experience managing banking relationships, audits, and corporate compliance.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Advanced proficiency with financial reporting systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working within high-growth entrepreneurial businesses is highly desirable.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
