Gillette Reproductive Health Medical Assistant / CNA
Pay Range: $18.00–$24.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Tuesday: 8:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
- Wednesday: 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Thursday: 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Position Summary
The Medical Assistant (MA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides clinical and administrative support to ensure high-quality reproductive and preventive healthcare services.
Essential Responsibilities
Clinical
- Obtain vital signs, health histories, and patient information.
- Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during visits and procedures.
- Perform and process point-of-care testing, including pregnancy and STI testing.
- Administer medications as permitted by law and clinic policy.
- Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and infection prevention standards.
- Provide basic patient education and assist with follow-up care.
Administrative
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
- Complete patient intake and maintain accurate health records.
- Process referrals, lab orders, and medical records requests.
- Assist with insurance verification and sliding-fee scale documentation.
Compliance
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
- Follow clinic policies, safety standards, and infection prevention practices.
- Participate in staff training and quality improvement activities.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current MA or CNA certification, or ability to obtain certification.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
Preferred
- Experience in women's health, family planning, public health, or primary care.
- Experience with health records.
- Bilingual English/Spanish highly encouraged.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds.
