Under supervision, performs a variety of document management, filing, scanning, and records retention functions in support of District administrative operations. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
The duties specified below are representative of the range of duties assigned to this classification and are not intended to be an inclusive list.

Sort, file, and organize paper and electronic documents in accordance with District filing systems and standards

Scan and digitize documents using high-volume scanning equipment; verify image quality and index scanned files in document management systems

Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the District’s records retention schedule; identify records eligible for disposition and prepare for destruction in accordance with District policy and applicable laws

Maintain alphabetical, numerical, cross-reference, and index filing systems for active and archived records

Retrieve, track, and return records and files requested by District staff

Assist with the preparation and labeling of archival boxes and off-site storage transfers

Enter and update record information in databases and spreadsheets; verify data accuracy and completeness

Perform general clerical support duties, including sorting and distributing mail, photocopying, and operating standard office equipment

Assist in the creation and updating of records management procedures, forms, and reference materials
