JOB SUMMARY:
Provides exceptional guest service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering a high-quality dining experience. Takes food and beverage orders, serves menu items according to West Texas Chophouse standards, and ensures guest satisfaction throughout the entire dining experience. Maintains knowledge of menu items, promotions, and restaurant operations. Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Greets guests promptly and courteously, creating a positive first impression
- Takes accurate food and beverage orders and enters them into the POS system
- Delivers food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and proper presentation
- Maintains thorough knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and promotions
- Checks back with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Processes guest payments accurately and efficiently
- Maintains clean and organized dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations
- Completes assigned side work, including stocking, cleaning, and setup/breakdown tasks
- Works collaboratively with kitchen and team members to ensure smooth service
- Adheres to company standards for food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience:
- Previous serving or customer service experience preferred
Skills / Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide excellent guest service in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple tables effectively
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude
- Knowledge of POS systems preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays of food and beverages
START PAY IS $2.12 PER HOUR + TIPS
