American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel assignment requiring at least 3 years of recent OR experience, with expertise in Total Joints, Ortho Spine, Gyn, and MIS procedures.

Hospital Operating Room setting

Staff are expected to work across a variety of OR specialty areas, including Total Joints, Ortho Spine, Gyn, and MIS
-
Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
-
On-call required: weekday call runs 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM; weekend call runs Saturday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM

40-minute response time required for on-call

On-call is assigned on a rotating basis; first 6-week schedule includes 2–3 weekday call shifts, followed by a weekend call block in the next 6-week period

Active KY or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration — no licensure hits accepted

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 3 years of recent OR experience required

Level 1 trauma OR experience desired

Experience with Total Joints, Ortho Spine, Gyn, and MIS procedures required

2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Candidates who have previously worked at this facility as permanent staff must have been separated for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler

All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration; RTO requests made after submission will not be approved

Level 1 trauma experience is desired, reflecting the acuity and complexity of cases in this OR environment
