Job Summary
We are seeking a task-driven and detail-oriented Cannabis Cultivation Technician to join our team in North Bergen, NJ. We are a craft cannabis brand with a strong emphasis on quality and compliance. While this role supports multiple areas of cultivation, the majority of day-to-day responsibilities will focus on plant defoliation and general facility cleaning. Candidates should be comfortable with repetitive, hands-on work in a production-focused environment.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have at least 1 year of commercial cannabis cultivation experience.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will vary based on operational needs and may include:
- Performing routine defoliation, pruning, flower room resets, and general facility cleaning
- Supporting cultivation operations across various stages of the plant lifecycle, including watering, transplanting, propagation, pest management, and harvesting, as needed
- Assisting with general farm and production tasks as directed by cultivation leadership
- Following standard operating procedures and working under the guidance of grow leads
Requirements
- 1–2 years of commercial cannabis cultivation or production experience (required)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment and meet daily goals
- Detail-oriented, dependable, motivated, and professional
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with a willingness to learn
- General knowledge of the cannabis industry, including strains and products
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Comfortable with prolonged standing, repetitive motions, lifting, pushing, and stair climbing in a physical agricultural environment
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed (facility operates 365 days per year)
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Must be eligible to work in the New Jersey cannabis industry
