We are currently seeking Construction Crew Members.
Qualifications, Skills, and Responsibilities
The Construction Crew Member plays a key role in all phases of construction, from site preparation through final finishes. This is a hands-on position requiring versatility, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Crew members will work closely with their foreman and other trades to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to high-quality standards. Candidates also must be reliable, dependable, and be able to provide a positive interaction with co-workers.
Qualifications:
- Prior construction experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, materials and methods
- Ability to take direction and pay attention to detail
- Committed to quality workmanship
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Able to stand, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to work at heights when necessary
Key Responsabilities:
- Serve in a flexible, multi-skilled role, assisting with diverse construction tasks as needed to help meet project schedules and deadlines.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and light equipment safely, effectively and with precision. You will provide typical personal hand tools (tool belt, hammer, tape measure, etc.), all power and specialty tools will be provided.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow project plans, instructions, and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with the foreman and other crew members.
- Report hazards, incidents, and safety concerns promptly.
- Assist with punch list items and final project completion
- Have valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Be able to pass a drug test
- Be able to work with a crew and also independently
- Be able to efficiently work while also observing safety rules
