Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher, Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Lead classroom activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and active participation among children.
- Support the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) for children requiring special education or early intervention services.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques.
- Foster a safe, inclusive environment that promotes child welfare, childcare best practices, and preschool experience.
- Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and support ongoing child development at home and school.
- Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, assessments, standardized testing results, and daily observations to track each child's growth.
- Assist in classroom management duties such as organizing materials, supervising activities, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Incorporate Montessori methods or other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences where applicable.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques.
- Experience developing curriculum content across subjects including literacy education, math, physical education, and special education strategies.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members.
- Ability to plan lessons that are engaging, age-appropriate, and aligned with educational standards.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and tutoring methods for young learners.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques suitable for toddlers and preschool-aged children.
- Certification or training in early intervention or special education is a plus.
