The Recruiter is responsible for supporting the organization’s staffing needs by managing full-cycle recruitment activities for corporate, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, and administrative positions. This role partners with hiring managers to attract, assess, and hire qualified candidates while ensuring a positive candidate experience and compliance with company hiring practices.
The Recruiter will utilize a variety of sourcing methods to identify qualified candidates, maintain talent pipelines, and support the organization in meeting its staffing objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate selection, offer coordination, and onboarding support.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, and hiring timelines.
- Source candidates through online job boards, social media platforms, employee referrals, networking, career fairs, and community partnerships.
- Conduct phone screens and initial interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and overall fit for open positions.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams and facilitate timely communication throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain accurate candidate and requisition records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Develop and maintain candidate pipelines for recurring and high-volume positions.
- Assist with creating and posting job advertisements to attract qualified applicants.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience through professional communication and timely follow-up.
- Prepare offer documentation and coordinate pre-employment activities, including background checks, drug screens, and onboarding requirements.
- Participate in job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach activities to promote employment opportunities.
- Generate routine recruiting activity reports and provide updates on open positions and candidate pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and recruiting procedures throughout the hiring process.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with hiring managers, candidates, staffing partners, and community organizations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of full-cycle recruiting processes and sourcing techniques.
- Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and similar sourcing tools.
- Strong candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
- Ability to build effective relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and business partners.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of recruiting experience, preferably within manufacturing, distribution, logistics, supply chain, or operational environments.
- Experience recruiting both hourly and salaried positions.
- Experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS); Dayforce experience preferred.
- Experience supporting high-volume recruiting efforts is preferred.
