Position Summary
The Southern Arizona Field Director leads our voter contact programs across the Tucson region, overseeing both voter registration and door-to-door electoral canvassing. This is a senior field leadership role focused on launching canvass operations, leading team leads, and driving daily field production. The Director manages the program on the ground from launch through Election Day.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operations of voter registration and door-to-door canvassing programs across Southern Arizona
Launch and stand up canvass groups in the field
Directly manage, coach, and develop team leads who oversee canvasser crews
Set, track, and hit daily and weekly contact and registration goals
Manage turf cutting, scheduling, and field logistics
Use data and field management tools to monitor quality, productivity, and progress
Ensure all voter registration activity is conducted accurately and in full compliance with Arizona law
Report regularly to senior program leadership on metrics, progress, and field conditions
Troubleshoot problems quickly and keep the program on pace
Qualifications
Prior experience leading field, canvassing, organizing, or voter contact programs
Demonstrated ability to manage team leads and motivate crews to hit aggressive goals
Strong organizational and logistical skills; comfortable managing turf, schedules, and data
Familiarity with voter registration rules and field compliance practices (Arizona experience a plus)
Comfort with field management technology and data tracking
Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work evenings and weekends
Deep commitment to civic engagement and community power-building
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

This is a seasonal position running from July 8 through November 2026. Compensation ranges from $4,500 to $6,000 per month, depending on experience.

- What voter file, turf-cutting, or field management tools have you used (e.g., VAN/VoteBuilder, MiniVAN, Civitech, etc.)?
- Describe your experience running or supervising voter registration drives, including your familiarity with Arizona registration rules.
