As a Building Maintenance II Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving a customers facility in El Dorado Hills, ensuring it meets industry standards and exceeds everyones expectations.
WORK SUMMARY
Building Maintenance II technicians perform general maintenance duties to keep the structure of a building in repair and performing as designed. Duties include maintenance of building systems, carpentry, repairing of electrical or mechanical equipment, repairing floors, walls or stairs, and requisitioning, using, supplying, or handling materials, tools, and equipment necessary to accomplish these duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties of the Building Maintenance II technician position include but are not limited to:

Lifting, pulling or carrying 50+ pounds regularly.

Properly setting up workspaces and worksites.

Tool and equipment maintenance, cleaning and upkeep. Transport tools, materials, equipment and supplies to work sites.

Perform routine Inspections, services, repairs, adjustments and replacement of equipment, structures or materials on buildings. All maintenance activities to be performed to industry standards.

Hanging white boards, moving furniture, replacing ceiling tiles, repair/replace door closures, hardware, etc. drywall repair, texture, paint, and other general handyman type services. Dry rot, siding, framing, replacing doors, etc.

Minor electrical, lighting, and plumbing repairs necessary to complete jobs.

Gathering project details, measurements and other information in order to estimate jobs while on-site.

Adhere to all safety programs, procedures, regulations, and operations.

Ability to teach and assist new employees.

Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma.
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a maintenance technician or building engineer.

Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, basic carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and door hardware repair.

Familiarity with residential, commercial, and industrial building maintenance practices.

Previous supervisory experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Technician in a commercial or industrial setting is preferred.

Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

Excellent written communication and documentation skills required.

Strong time management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively, adapting to a fast-paced environment.

Commitment to excellent attendance and participation in safety training.

Ability to pass a full onboarding background check including a drug screening.
