Overview
This position is for cleaning a school at night on Monday-Friday (5x per week). Must work well with others and have reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, common areas, and other designated spaces using commercial cleaning equipment.
- Handle cleaning chemicals with strict adherence to safety protocols to ensure effective sanitation without hazards.
- Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal on a regular schedule.
- Follow safety procedures diligently during all custodial tasks to prevent accidents or chemical mishandling incidents.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to cleaning requests or concerns from staff or visitors.
Requirements
- Proven custodial or janitorial experience in commercial or industrial settings.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and proper use of cleaning equipment including floor buffers and industrial vacuums.
- Excellent attention to detail with a positive attitude toward facility upkeep.
- Prior experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
