The Company sells and installs carpeting, hardwood, tile, and laminate; also window coverings, cabinets and countertops. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity for a self-driven and talented construction accountant.
Job Description:
Floortex Design is seeking an Accounting Manager to manage all day-to-day financial operations, accurately account for and track job costs, and prepare accurate and timely accrual-basis financial reports for management.
Accounting Responsibilities:
Responsible for all accounting operations of the Company Communicate routinely with Sales and Project Managers on job-related issues Reconcile bank and credit card accounts in Quickbooks Reconcile accounts receivable, accounts payable and inventory monthly Reconcile job costs, including work-in-progress and cost of goods sold to QFloors software job cost accounting reports Prepare monthly close and accrual basis financial reports Create/design new accounting procedures for efficiency, as Company grows/business structure changes.
Minimum Required Skills and Qualifications:
Must be a self-starter with problem solving skills. Minimum of Bachelor's degree in accounting, 5+ years of experience with job costing, and accrual basis accounting, must learn how to use QFloors, flooring industry software.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
