Work remotely to develop training manuals, preventative maintenance programs, and other essential materials, laying the groundwork for a successful field service team in the future. Our current commitment is to respond within 24-48 hours of a call. As we expand our operations in the United States and Mexico, additional support will be available in these regions over the coming years.

- Perform installations, unpacking/packing, inspection, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and repairs on packaging equipment as required.
- Knowledge of PLC software, for on-site or remote support. Knowledge of Siemens PLCs an advantage.
- As the sole field service representative in the US, your role demands swift reactions and prompt travel to customers whenever necessary, as customer satisfaction stands as Shemesh's utmost priority.
- You'll have the opportunity to travel extensively worldwide to support customer equipment as needed, with a preference for domestic travel within the USA.
- Engage with customers, sales teams, and Shemesh Automation management to address any technical inquiries comprehensively.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, guaranteeing flawless and transparent installations and repairs.
- Offer technical support for the operation, repair, and maintenance of packaging equipment as needed, including on-site visits.
- Provide telephone/remote technical support for equipment at sites in North America and Mexico.
- Proactively take initiatives on behalf of the customer, including implementing preventive maintenance measures.
- Ensure closed-loop feedback by providing comprehensive reports on all actions taken.
- Cultivate customer relationships focused on fostering loyalty and trust.
- Proactively advocate for the features and benefits of the equipment/products.
- Take an active role in other areas of the company where opportunities arise.
- You are on call as required to support equipment in the UK, North America and Mexico.
- Be ready for increased travel as our footprint expands in the US and Mexico over the next few years.
- Attend trade fairs and training courses abroad semi-annually.
- Complete administrative duties related to the role, including but not limited to: expense reports, mileage reports, time cards, parts requests/returns, installation reports, service reports, and any other assigned reporting tasks.
