Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Salesperson to join our Ag and Turf Equipment dealership team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by engaging with customers and providing expert product demonstrations. Your enthusiasm for outdoor power equipment combined with strong business development skills will help us expand our customer base and strengthen existing relationships. This position offers a dynamic environment where proactive outreach and customer service excellence are key to success.
Responsibilities
- Represents the company for the sale of ag and turf equipment to customers / represents Minnesota Equipment with sales in the turf, ag, and construction equipment categories
- Nurtures current relationships with customers in the assistance of sales
- Develops new customer relationships in the assistance of sales
- Responds to online / social media leads and requests
- Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership, with an emphasis on <90hp tractors, implements & attachments as well as turf products
- Monitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordingly
- Maintains all customer information for sales management
- Knows and follows a defined sales process
- Assists with the preparation and execution of customer events
- Conducts new equipment demonstrations
- Monitors trends in customer’s business activities and timely communicates to management
- Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
- Attends applicable sales training events/seminars
- Maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes
Experience
- 1+ years equipment sales experience
- Knowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and farming for operational practices
- Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
- Ability to work flexible hours including Saturdays (daytime hours only)
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports
- 2- or 4-year college degree with emphasis in sales or equivalent work experience

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
