Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and professional service to guests at Diamondhead Resort. This role supports front desk operations, assists with reservations, guest check-ins and check-outs, and helps ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all visitors. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
Job Duties:
Greet guests and assist with check-in and check-out processes.
Answer and direct phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and provide information about resort services and river float activities.
Assist with reservations, scheduling, and general guest services.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including basic register balancing.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and office area.
Support daily office tasks such as filing, data entry, and processing mail.
Assist guests with directions, questions, and issue resolution to ensure a positive experience.
Help coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to support guest needs.
Stock and maintain front office supplies and retail display areas as needed.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Previous customer service experience preferred.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to learn reservation and property management systems (Infor experience is a plus).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
Must be able to acquire ABLE certification.
Physical & Schedule Requirements:
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to perform light physical duties.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
