Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and cook grilled items, ensuring food safety standards and quality are maintained at all times
- Handle cash transactions, giving correct change and managing cash handling procedures with precision
- Upsell menu items to enhance sales and improve the customer experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food prep stations, dining areas, and equipment
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen operations during busy periods
- Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within quick service or fast-food restaurants
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for smooth transaction processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking between cashiering and cooking duties
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Previous restaurant experience or work in the food industry is highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist customers efficiently
- Should have restaurant and grill experience prior
