- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Occupational Health, Sustainability, or a related field required.
- 2-5 years of environmental compliance, environmental management, or EHS experience preferred.
- Experience within manufacturing, industrial, construction, utilities, government, or consulting environments preferred.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and applicable state environmental regulations.
- Understanding of environmental permitting and compliance requirements.
- Ability to interpret environmental regulations and implement compliance programs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and environmental management software.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Preferred Certifications
- Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM)
- Certified Environmental and Safety Compliance Officer (CESCO)
- Registered Environmental Manager (REM)
- OSHA Training Certifications (30-Hour Preferred)
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in office, laboratory, manufacturing, construction, or outdoor environments.
- Frequent walking, standing, climbing stairs, and conducting site inspections.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
- Exposure to industrial environments, outdoor weather conditions, and occasionally hazardous materials.
- May require occasional after-hours support for environmental incidents, inspections, or audits.
