Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Dietitian to join Endura Healthcare, a subsidiary of Ensign Services. This position will oversee City Park Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center (Denver). The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment, have experience doing comprehensive nutritional assessments, assessing for malnutrition, completing MDS/care plans, participating in care conferences, enteral/parenteral nutrition, and frequent monitoring of high risk patients. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills and will work well as part of the interdisciplinary team.
The RD is integral to the success of the entire Food & Nutrition Department. The ideal candidate will work closely with the dietary manager and not hesitate to check in with the kitchen, conduct sanitation audits, etc. The RD will also participate in QA meetings for the facility, often representing the Food & Nutrition department.

This role requires a strong understanding of nutrition science, patient assessment, and the ability to create effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
Responsibilities
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assesses patient's nutritional status and needs (admission assessments, significant changes, quarterly and annual assessments)
- Develops and implements patient care plans and assesses patient responses
- Frequent monitoring of high risk patients: Enteral nutrition, TPN, pressure ulcers, dialysis, significant weight changes
- Participation in the MDS process, the interdisciplinary plan of care, and documentation of nutritional care plan in the medical record
- Screen and treat malnutrition and at-risk for malnutrition
- Lead and participate in Nutrition-at-Risk meetings weekly
- Provide nutrition education for patients and families
- Involvement in care conference meetings
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing, pharmacy and other healthcare team members/departments to determine, coordinate, and provide medical nutrition therapy
- Develop, modify or approve and make requested changes to facility menu
- Support the dietary director in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations
- Meal observations, test tray audits, participation in quality assurance performance improvement projects
- Functions as a preceptor in support of dietetic interns on occasion
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential is required.
- Experience in LTC/SNF is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in developing care plans.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: $68,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
