Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Child Care Administrator to oversee our residential programs in Farmersville, TX. The Administrator will be responsible for ensuring compliance with state regulations, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, supervising staff, and upholding our mission to provide holistic care for children and young adults.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- At least two (2) years of management and supervisory experience.
- Must be a Licensed Child Care Administrator in the state of Texas.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Licensed Child Care Administrator shall:
- Provide daily supervision and on-site administrative responsibility for the overall operation.
- Oversee staffing patterns to ensure appropriate supervision and provision of child care services that meet the needs of children in care.
- Ensure the provision of planned but flexible program activities designed to meet each child’s developmental needs.
- Maintain a system to ensure an employee is always available to handle emergencies.
- Assign tasks to caregivers that do not conflict or interfere with caregiver responsibilities.
- Administer and manage the operation according to established policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable rules, including:
- This chapter and Chapter 42 of the Human Resources Code.
- Chapter 745 of this title (Licensing).
- Any other applicable state or federal laws.
- Ensure that no child in care acts as a caregiver.
- Ensure that any person whose behavior or health presents a danger to children is not allowed on the premises.
- Ensure all employees and non-employees who have knowledge of or involvement in alleged mistreatment report it in writing to the Licensed Child Care Administrator or designee within two (2) hours of becoming aware of the allegation.
- Ensure allegations of abuse or neglect are promptly reported to Statewide Intake (SWI) at 1-800-252-5400.
Job Type: Full-time
Base Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
