Job Overview
As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will be the vital link between our customers and our skilled service technicians. Your enthusiasm for automobiles and customer service will drive your success as you guide clients through vehicle repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your mechanical knowledge, sales skills, and passion for automotive repair to ensure every customer leaves satisfied and confident in their vehicle’s care.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Explain repair options clearly, including estimating costs using automotive estimating software
- Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, suspension work, or transmission diagnostics to maximize customer value
- Write detailed service orders and communicate repair recommendations effectively to technicians
- Coordinate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards
- Manage customer communication throughout the service process, providing updates and explanations of work performed
Skills
- Strong automotive diagnostics knowledge with experience in mechanical repairs such as brake repair, suspension, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and oil changes
- Proven ability in auto estimating software and service writing to generate accurate repair estimates
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Experience in dealership environments
- Demonstrated sales aptitude with upselling experience to enhance revenue opportunities
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes including transmissions, tire services, oil changes, and automotive diagnostics
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Hours are Monday through Friday 8am-5pm NO WEEKENDS
