Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious breakfast meals that meet high standards of quality and presentation. Your enthusiasm for food preparation, food safety, and excellent service will help create a warm and inviting start to our residents’ day. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a dynamic community setting.
Duties
- Prepare and cook breakfast items according to established recipes and menu specifications
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food handling and sanitation standards
- Assist with menu planning to offer diverse and appealing breakfast options
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and cooking equipment throughout shifts
- Support food presentation by garnishing dishes and ensuring timely service
- Follow proper food safety procedures during meal preparation and storage
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional food service experiences
Requirements
- Strong culinary skills with proficiency in food preparation, cooking, and knife techniques
- Experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with menu planning, catering, and meal preparation processes
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving others
