Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Guest Services professional to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a welcoming and seamless experience from booking to check-out. This is a part-time position, Friday-Monday.
Office Work Responsibilities:
Most of your time will be spent communicating with current and future guests: responding to inquiries, sending home access info, ensuring rental agreements are signed, confirming reservation details, responding to all guest questions, anticipating and meeting guest needs, taking phone calls and responding to voicemails, booking/modifying reservations. You are responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience during every interaction. Communication will be done on your phone (RingCentral App) and our Property Management Software (Streamline VRS). All internal communication is done using Slack.
Field Work Responsibilities:
During busy season, you will help with overflow home inspections: ensuring quality of cleans, ensuring home is adequately stocked for next reservation, testing internet connection & gas fireplace, replacing batteries when needed, taking photos to document condition of home, bring bags of dirty laundry from homes and drop them off at laundromat. When cleans are not completed to our standard, housekeepers will be sent back to finish what was missed. However, there will be times when you will be required to complete the clean yourself (e.g. same-day guest arrivals). You must be able to work well independently. We work together as a team, but there will be plenty of time spent alone during inspections.
Minimum Qualifications:
Excellent customer service - past experience preferred.
Attention to detail – reservations, guests & homes.
Strong verbal, written and telephone skills.
Computer skills – email, ability to learn our PMS, some Word, Excel & Dropbox.
Possess strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
A valid driver license and a working & reliable phone and car.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Must be able to walk up & down stairs easily. Must be able to occasionally lift up and move up to 40 lbs. Must be willing to drive to multiple homes in Pagosa each day.
