Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Foreman to lead double lock standing seam, membrane, and roof coating roofing projects from start to finish.
In this role, you will oversee daily operations on construction sites, coordinate roofing crews, and ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in metal and flat rubber roofing systems and roof coatings will drive project success and client satisfaction. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate roofing crews, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to roofing systems and construction details
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to install various roofing materials including metal, membrane, or built-up systems
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to safety protocols
- Manage material deliveries, inventory, and ensure proper storage on-site
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to schedule work phases and resolve on-site issues promptly
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for roofing installation, restoration, or remodeling projects
Experience
- Proven experience in installing and managing roofing projects
- Extensive hands-on experience with roofing techniques including double lock standing seam and membrane roofing
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety practices and OSHA regulations
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, schematics interpretation and fabrication techniques.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising construction teams in fast-paced environments
- Ability to read technical schematics and schematics related to roofing systems or building frameworks
