Job Summary
We’re loooking for a motivated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to be a key part of our kitchen crew. In this role, you’ll help prepare and cook meals with precision, ensuring every dish meets our quality standards.
In this role, you will be the bridge between our artisan butcher counter and our kitchen. You will transform premium raw meats and trimmings into incredible house-made products, execute large-scale culinary prep, and fire up hot orders during our peak rushes. Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Support food prep activities, including chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients for service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, following food safety protocols.
- Help with food handling and storage to ensure freshness and safety.
- Collaborate with team members during busy service times to deliver timely, quality dishes.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to keep the kitchen safe for everyone.
- Contribute to menu planning ideas based on ingredient availability and customer preferences.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1–2 years of professional kitchen experience (experience in food service, a butcher shop, deli, or meat-heavy kitchen is preferred).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts.
- Team Mindset: A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to step in where needed.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with food handling, safety standards, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience with meal preparation, catering, or dietary department tasks is a plus.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
